Privacy policy

RebelWorks, SIA, registered in Latvia under number 40203772758, Liepu 28, Rezekne, LV-4601, Latvia, is the controller of the personal data you give Motor Portraits. Write to support@motorportraits.art with any question or request about your data.

What we collect and why

Your name and email address, to make your order, send your preview and deliver your portrait. The photos you upload and the details you type about your vehicle, to draw and check the portrait. A shipping address, when you order a print, to deliver it. Your payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. We also keep a scrambled form of your IP address to stop abuse, the device type and the steps of the order form you reached, your browser's identification and Meta's advertising cookies when they are set, and anything you write when you ask for changes.

Who handles your data for us

Your photos and the details you type are sent to AI image services (OpenAI and Google): to draw a sample preview while you order, then the portrait, and to check the likeness; the text of a change request goes to Google to draft a note for our team. The approved portrait goes to an upscaling service (fal.ai) to make the full-size file. Prints are made and shipped by our print partner (Printify and its print providers in the USA), who receive the print file, your name, your email address and the shipping address. Emails are sent through Resend. Payments are handled by Stripe. Our site and data are hosted by Netlify and Supabase.

After a purchase we may tell Meta and Google that a sale happened, to measure our advertising. Meta receives your email address only as a one-way hash, never in the clear.

How long we keep it

Your uploaded photos are deleted once your order is complete or 30 days after you pay, whichever is later. We keep your finished portrait, the drafts made for it and your order details until you ask us to delete them, and a bare record of the order (amounts, dates and statuses) for as long as accounting law requires. If you start an order and do not finish it, its photos are deleted 30 days after you last touched it and the rest of it 90 days after. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, receive or delete the personal data we hold about you, and object to how we use it, by writing to support@motorportraits.art. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or the data protection authority where you live. When we delete your data we keep a bare record of the order for our accounts (amounts, dates and statuses, no name, address or photos) and, if you unsubscribed, your address on our do-not-mail list so we can honour it. Stripe and Printify keep their own records under their own policies. An order still being made or on its way is deleted once it is finished.

Cookies and storage

Your browser keeps your unfinished order for seven days so you can pick up where you left off. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel on our pages to measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs.

Reminders

If you start an order, upload a photo and leave, we may send you up to two reminder emails. Each has an unsubscribe link, and we keep your address on a do-not-mail list so we can honour it.

Children

Motor Portraits is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
